what are we forgetting?
Questions to talk through together, before the day.
Most of what goes wrong at a wedding isn’t big. It’s the small things nobody asked about. Who has the rings before the ceremony? Who’s cueing the processional? Where does everyone park? Who takes the gifts home?
These are the questions I ask couples in the final weeks, after 15 years of working weddings. Each one is short, some with a note on why it matters. Some you’ll answer in a second. Some will start a conversation you’ll be glad you had before the day.
how to use it?
Go through it together. Take your time and talk it out. Some questions you’ll answer right away. Others will make you stop and think, or realize you need to check with someone: your venue, your caterer, a friend or family member. “Not sure” is a fine answer. It means you’ve found something to figure out. Keep a running list as you go, and by the end you’ll have your own short list of things to decide, ask or confirm before the day.
who is it for?
Couples doing it their own way, at any stage. Early on, it shows you what to think about. Later, it’s a good last check.
